Mrs. Johns

This is my third year as the Student Learning Assistant for grades 3-5 at Sunrise and my 5th year with the district.  There are many things I enjoy about this role but at the top of the list is being able to continue to teach students that I have already built a relationship with! I am truly looking forward to my time with them! 

 

It is my goal to create a safe, fun, inviting, and wonderful school year for all of my students!

 

As for background information, I previously taught first grade at a private school, then took time away from teaching to raise my two sons.  I live in the district and my children attend school at Penn-Trafford.  I earned my master's degree from Seton Hill in Inclusive Education and my bachelor's degree from IUP.
