Message From the Principal

We have reached the midpoint in the third marking period and progress notices are being sent home. It is important for parents and guardians to be active participants in their child(ren)'s education.  Ask questions, schedule a conference, and get involved in what your child is learning at school.  We all want your children to be successful.  Please stay up to date and aware of everything that is going on by visiting this website, contacting your child(ren)'s teachers and even volunteering when you are able!  Should you have any additional questions about school, please call the school office.  We enjoy the time we get to share with your children!
All parents are suggested to visit and explore all the school website information, teacher pages, and Powerschool to check grades regularly.  Connect with your child(ren)'s teacher with any questions or concerns. Please let us know what we can do to make the days better for you and your child(ren).
Please visit the site often for any changes or news.  OR Check out our twitter feed @SunriseElemK5.  Also, please don't hesitate to contact us, as needed, should you need anything.
The office is open Monday -Friday, hours are 8am to 4pm. Please contact me with any issues or concerns. Dr. Karin Coiner - -
Sunrise Estates Elementary School is a neighborhood school that houses grades K-5.  We are one of five elementary schools for the district.  Currently, our enrollment is around 316 students.  We have approximately 35 staff members that work in the building.  We offer half day Kindergarten, both AM and PM. Building services include speech and language, learning support, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and gifted needs.

What do we stand for?  What do we believe?  Where are we headed?  What are our values?  Ever wonder the answers to these questions?

The following Vision Statements were created by the Staff of Sunrise Elementary during June of 2012.  They are what we believe are the Core elements of educating our learners each and every day.  Sunrise takes pride in our school, our district, and educating our littlest ones to become successful learners from this point forward.  Our Sunrise Vision follows the district beliefs, core values, and soft skills.

The entire Vision can be found by clicking this link.  Sunrise Vision
