What do we stand for?  What do we believe?  Where are we headed?  What are our values?  Ever wonder the answers to these questions?

The following Vision Statements were created by the Staff of Sunrise Elementary during June of 2012.  They are what we believe are the Core elements of educating our learners each and every day.  Sunrise takes pride in our school, our district, and educating our littlest ones to become successful learners from this point forward.  Our Sunrise Vision follows the district beliefs, core values, and soft skills.

The entire Vision can be found by clicking this link.  Sunrise Vision

Message From the Principal

We want to take an opportunity to thank all the Sunrise Families for your understanding and flexibility during these challenging times.  The holidays are here!  We hope you are able to enjoy this time with family.  We realize that remote instruction may not be our favorite option for many, but we are in a time where it is necessary.  Our ultimate goal to have the students in the building for as many days and as often as possible.  However, we are always going to make decisions for the health and safety of everyone involved.  We thank you for your patience and kindness throughout this process.  Should you have any questions, please reach out to the teachers or office and we will work to get answers for you during this constantly changing time!
We truly want to work with you as a team.  Education of our children is one of the most valuable and challenging honors to hold.  Thank you for entrusting us with this job.  We all want your children to be successful.  Please stay up to date and aware of everything that is going on by visiting this website, contacting your child(ren)'s teachers and even volunteering when you are able!  Should you have any additional questions about school, please call the school office.

All parents are encouraged to visit and explore all the school website information, teacher pages, and Powerschool to check grades regularly.  Connect with your child(ren)'s teacher with any questions or concerns.  Please let us know what we can do to make the days better for you and your child(ren).

Please visit the site often for any changes or news.  OR check our our twitter feed @SunriseElemK5.  Also, please don't hesitate to contact us, as needed, should you need anything.

The office is open Monday thru Friday from 8am to 4pm.  If you call at other times, you will either be able to leave a message or someone may answer the phone if they are in the office.  Please contact me with any issues or concerns. Dr. Karin Coiner - -
