PikMyKid Dismissal App: This app will be used for all students at the end of the day and also for the dismissal of the AM kindergarten students. We are asking all families to download the free app and enter their child(ren)'s information about their dismissal. It will be used to organize and manage all student pick ups for our car line as well. First View App (Bus Tracking System for Parents):
- First View Parent App user associations to student information was deleted on July 15th. This is done for security purposes. At that time, users will no longer have any students associated and/or stops associated to their profile, and all codes needed to access the app will be reset.
- Parent App: All parent app users will need to re-add their student or school code into the app (This is the Student Lunch ID code). Please ensure you provide them the appropriate codes to use the app. (Again, you will have to use your student lunch ID code).

Grade Level Supply List Requests are asking for more than normal due to COVID19. We appreciate any assistance you can provide. If you are unable to provide additional supplies for your child(ren), please don't hesitate to tell your child's teacher or the office and we will gladly get those supplies for you.

Registration for the 2020-2021 school year is still happening if you have not done so already! Please call us as soon as you are able so that we can get everything ready for the start of the 20-21 school year!
Registration (via phone @ your home school): Please call your home school to register your child. The secretary at each building will take your information right over the phone!

FREE AND REDUCED LUNCH APPLICATION: Please consider filling out and turning in the free and reduced lunch application to receive assistance for breakfast and lunch in the school. Eligibility is based on income and all information is completely confidential. The status of the application is not shared and also embedded into student's lunch ID card, therefore, not shared with other students at any time. Backpacks to Go Program: As you do your back to school shopping, please think of Penn-Trafford's Backpacks-to-Go Program. The Penn Trafford Backpacks-to-Go Program is a supplemental nutrition program provides a backpack filled with meals and snacks every other weekend to district children enrolled in the program, made possible through donations from community members, businesses, organizations, and churches in the surrounding area, and PT staff. The following Vision Statements were created by the Staff of Sunrise Elementary during June of 2012. They are what we believe are the Core elements of educating our learners each and every day. Sunrise takes pride in our school, our district, and educating our littlest ones to become successful learners from this point forward. Peer Mediation Availability:
The goal of peer mediation (if needed for a given child) is for the peer mediators to help our students resolve their conflicts peacefully and more independently, and in turn hopefully teach our students conflict resolution skills.
