With support from DonorsChoose, Sunrise Elementary teachers Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Hartman were able to enhance their 4th-grade classrooms with new headphones, flexible seating options, and instructional learning resources, all designed to positively impact student learning.
The headphones are being used during independent and small-group activities, helping students stay focused and minimizing distractions. Flexible seating options give students the opportunity to choose where and how they work best, supporting a variety of learning styles. In addition, the new learning resources have enriched daily instruction by providing fresh materials for practice, exploration, and skill development.
