Dance-A-Thon Raises $17,000

The Sunrise Estates Elementary PTO completed a fundraiser in late January which culminated in a glow-in-the-dark dance-a-thon for each grade level.

Students collected money and were given chances to earn daily prizes as well as the opportunity to put their principal, Mr. DiNapoli, in a dunk tank at a year-end celebration.

The event raised almost  $17,000 for the school, and funds will be used for Fun Day, field trip shirts, 5th-grade farewell, kindergarten farewell, teacher appreciation, and much more.
