Mrs. Karrie Gutwald, a 2nd-grade teacher at Sunrise Estates Elementary School, recently completed a DonorsChoose crowdfunding campaign. She received enough funding to add 30 new books and comfortable seating to her classroom’s reading corner.
“The students were so excited to see new books and couldn’t wait to get them in their book bins to start reading them,” said Mrs. Gutwald. “Reading is a life-long skill and I want my students to enjoy reading for pleasure…these books are a great way to instill that love of reading.”
