At Sunrise Estates Elementary School, music teacher Mrs. Frescura rewards students for following classroom rules with a sticker at the end of each music lesson. Students look forward to adding their stickers to the pixelated murals displayed in the classroom.
Frescura’s students completed their first mural in December, and the second one in March. Each mural consists of close to 4,000 stickers, and they are looking forward to getting one more completed by the end of the school year. “The students have really enjoyed the intrigue of figuring out what each poster will be,” commented Frescura. “They work hard to receive their sticker so that they can feel like they are a valuable part of the Sunrise team!”
