The Penn-Trafford School Board and Administration have announced the Students of the Month for January 2023. The students attended the January 9, 2023 School Board meeting where they were each introduced by their school’s principal and presented a certificate of achievement.
(Elementary)
Declan Joyce is a 5th-grade student at Sunrise Estates Elementary. Dr. Karin Coiner, principal, commended Declan for being an outstanding student, athlete, and leader. Declan is the son of Sean and Jennifer Joyce.
(Middle School)
Sydney DeRiggi is a 7th-grade student at Penn Middle School. She was introduced by Mr. Jim Simpson, principal. He recognized Sydney for being an exceptional student and a great example for her peers. Sydney is the daughter of Samuel and Abby DeRiggi.
(High School)
Angelina DiMatteo is a 12th-grader at Penn-Trafford High School. Dr. Greg Capoccioni, assistant principal, spoke of Angelina’s vast extracurricular activities and her excellence and maturity in the classroom. Angelina is the daughter of Mark and Bettina DiMatteo.
