This year, the first and second graders of the Penn-Trafford School District are utilizing the Code.org curriculum to learn computer programming. At Sunrise Estates Elementary School, students in Mrs. Gutwald’s second-grade class teamed up with a partner to review a computer program which moves an avatar throughout a grid. They were challenged to identify and fix a ‘bug’ so that the program would run correctly.
