To celebrate National Teddy Bear Day on September 9, the students in Mrs. Gutwald’s second-grade class at Sunrise Estates Elementary School brought their favorite stuffed animals to school.
The students enjoyed showing their plush buddies to their classmates. They paired up and interviewed their partner’s stuffy to find out its’ name, where it came from, where it would go on a trip anywhere and why. Mrs. Gutwald also explained to the class about the history of the teddy bear.
