Penn-Trafford School District held a Summer Band Camp for students in grades 4-8. The camp, which took place the week of July 11th, was incredibly well attended with more than 100 participants.
Instructors Jamie Riston, Jennifer Thompson, Athena Konidaris, Samantha Bratton, Chance Wesner, Faith McDowell, and Briana Carr led beginning students in instrument basics and first notes. Campers in fifth through eighth grades advanced their skills in sectionals and ensemble time.
On the final day of camp, the students performed a wonderful outdoor concert at Penn Middle School featuring many musical groups and ensembles.
