Students Learn To Appreciate Worms

The first-grade teachers at Sunrise Estates Elementary School welcomed Ms. Reese from Westmoreland Cleanways and Recycling to visit their classes for a presentation on decomposers and how they help cycle matter in an ecosystem.

The class also observed how worms can help the environment through vermicomposting.
