Mrs. Karrie Gutwald, a second-grade teacher at Sunrise Estates Elementary School (Penn-Trafford School District) received a grant from Donors Choose, enabling her to add to her classroom library collection.
“The students were so excited to see the stack of new books just waiting to be put into the classroom library,” commented Mrs. Gutwald. “I want my students to become lifelong learners and readers and learn to find joy in reading. Books can teach us many important life lessons and they can take us to places we have never been to in our minds.”
