Thursday, November 18, was “Children's Grief Awareness Day,” a day designed to help people become more aware of the needs of grieving children. Staff at Sunrise Estates and Harrison Park Elementary Schools wore shirts saying "It's OK to not be OK" to recognize students who are grieving as well as to share the message that it's okay to not be okay as we learn to live and pull through a pandemic.
