Students in Penn-Trafford High School’s Media & Literacy class coordinated with the district’s elementary and middle schools to make handprint turkey greetings for distribution within the community.
The turkeys feature Thanksgiving messages and will be given to local nursing homes.
“My students wanted to do something special for all the residents in honor of the holiday,” said Media & Literacy teacher Mrs. Kelly-Garris. “They wanted the whole district to be involved in spreading Thanksgiving messages.” The activity was spearheaded by Natalie Gross, Madison Setzenfand, Mia Smith, and Makenna Trainor who personally delivered the turkeys.
