Welcome new teachers! (8-10-21)

The Penn-Trafford School District is pleased to announce the hiring of four new teachers who will join the staff beginning in the 2021-2022 school year.

Taylor Bartlow will join the Penn Trafford High School staff as an Emotional Support teacher.  Taylor played softball at Robert Morris University and graduated in December 2020 with degrees in K-12 Special Education and Pre K-4 Education.   



Justine Fecik will be an Emotional Support teacher at Harrison Park Elementary School.  She has both Special Education and Elementary Education degrees and Special Ed. Supervisor Certification from Slippery Rock University and Masters in Elementary and Secondary School Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  Prior to joining the PT staff, Justine taught for eleven years and was most recently at Hampton Township School District.  



Alison Stephens will be a Learning Support teacher at Sunrise Estates Elementary School.  Alison is a PT alumna with a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and Elementary Education from Seton Hill University and a Master’s Degree in Child Development and Adolescent Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University.  She spent nearly two years teaching English in Shanghai, China while employed by the Disney Company.



Jennifer Thompson will be teaching music at Trafford Elementary and Level Green Elementary Schools.  She graduated in December 2020 from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Music Education.  She has experience as a substitute teacher and also taught in a private school prior to arriving at Penn-Trafford.
