Miss Amber Urick, a teacher at Penn-Trafford’s Sunrise Estates Elementary School, was honored as an Allstar Teacher in May 2020, but it wasn’t until June 9, 2021 that she was able to cash in on her VIP treatment at a Pittsburgh Pirates game.
The award, sponsored by the Pittsburgh Pirates Charities, Chevron, and The Grable Foundation, honored Miss Urick’s teaching excellence and included a $1,000 grant for her classroom, a custom Pirates jersey, and a luxury box and field recognition at the Pirates game.
