At Sunrise Estates Elementary School, Mrs. Cardamone’s art classes produced creative renderings of the Solar Eclipse. Students learned about the positions of the Earth, Moon, and Sun during an eclipse. Then, they smeared chalk pastels to resemble the sun’s rays peeking out from the very edges of the moon. “We had so much fun comparing our artwork to real-life experiences,” commented Cardamone.
