Personal Bio

Hello!

I have been the Principal of Sunrise Estates Elementary since 2012.  Prior to this, I served as Assistant Principal of both Sunrise Estates and McCullough Elementary for 5 years.  Before my administrative experiences, I was a Secondary Math teacher for seven years at both the middle school and high school levels.  I have taught at the Penn-Trafford, Southmoreland, Greensburg-Salem, and Marion Center School Districts.

I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Mathematics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1999.  In 2006, I completed my Master of Education in School Administration and K-12 Principal’s Certificate at the University of Pittsburgh.  In the summer of 2016, I earned my Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility from the University of Pittsburgh.  In June of 2017, I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with my Doctorate of Education.

My husband and I currently live in the Penn-Trafford community with our two children that attend PT, Maura and Aidan.
